Adenomyosis Treatment.

Adenomyosis is a hormone-dependent inflammatory process. The reason for its development lies in a change in the functional activity of the endometrium (uterine mucosa), whose cells reproduce beyond the mucosa.

The disease can be congenital or acquired under the pressure of hormonal disorders, surgical intervention, or weakened immunity.

The lack of timely assistance with adenomyosis leads to a decrease in reproductive function and the development of tumors. There are four degrees of the disease. With the 1st and 2nd — treatment is carried out by conservative methods of official medicine and folk remedies.

Balneotherapy

To eliminate the disease, adherents of alternative medicine recommend iodine-bromine and radon baths. In the first case, chemical elements with a pronounced analgesic and anti-inflammatory effect are taken — iodine at a concentration of 10 mg / dm3 and bromine at a concentration of 25 mg / dm3.

They are added to water, the temperature of which is 37 degrees. The procedure lasts 10-15 minutes, is performed every other day. The course of treatment should not exceed ten sessions.

Mineral water with a radon concentration of 200 Mach units is needed for a radon bath. Water temperature should not exceed 38 degrees. As in the first case, the procedure lasts 10-15 minutes. It will take 10 sessions conducted twice every three days. Natural sources of radon waters are concentrated in the resorts of Russia (Pyatigorsk, Molokovka, Ust-Kut), Ukraine (Khmelnik), Georgia (Tskhaltubo).

Therapeutic baths with uterine adenomyosis are strictly prohibited, as they can cause deterioration.

For home treatment, microclysters and irrigation with radon water are recommended. In this case, its concentration should be 500 units of the Mach. Irrigation is performed daily for 30 minutes. Course — up to 20 sessions.

Hirudotherapy

Leech therapy is considered the most effective treatment option for uterine adenomyosis. Self-determining the areas in which the process of endometrial proliferation is most active, leeches are immediately activated and begin to «work».

Leech saliva contains biological substances with antiseptic qualities. In the process of treatment, inflammation is removed, blood is cleansed and blood supply to the pelvic organs is improved, hormonal levels are stabilized and immunity is increased.

Anemia, low blood pressure, and allergies are contraindications to leech procedures.

Hirudotherapy is prescribed for the 1st and 2nd degree of uterine adenomyosis. Leeches are applied to the lower abdomen and wait until they fall off on their own. The duration of the course is 6 sessions. An interval of 3 days is maintained between the procedures.

In connection with a decrease in blood coagulability, special care must be taken during a hirudotherapy session. Blood loss may be greater than claimed by the treatment.
