water — 100 ml
Remove the zest from two oranges with a fine grater. Only the orange part needs to be removed. Squeeze juice out of oranges. For liquor, 300 milliliters of freshly squeezed orange juice will be required.
This amount of juice I got from three oranges, with a total weight of about 750 grams.
Pour freshly squeezed juice into the stewpan, put the orange zest and put on fire. Bring to a boil, but do not boil.
Remove the boiling juice from the heat and cool to room temperature. Pour the cooled juice with zest into a jar and add 200 milliliters of vodka. Cover the jar with a lid and set it in a dark place to insist for 3-4 days. After 3 days, filter the mixture through a sieve.
Cook the syrup.
Pour 150 grams of sugar into a stewpan and pour 100 milliliters of water. We put on the fire. Cook after boiling for 1-2 minutes. Cool the syrup to room temperature. Add it to the orange juice with vodka. We mix everything.
Pour the prepared liquor into a bottle and close it well with a cork. Let him insist in a dark place for about a month, as much as possible. Out of this amount of ingredients, we got 600 milliliters of orange liquor with an alcohol content of about 15 percent.
The liquor turned out to be moderately sweet and with a very rich orange flavor.
