When swelling occurs, it is useful to consume as much as possible vegetables, herbs, fruits and berries that have a diuretic effect. Such as celery, parsley, asparagus, onions, garlic, watermelon, pumpkin, strawberry, black currant, grapes.

Dairy products are also useful, especially kefir, yogurt, cottage cheese. Instead of regular tea and beverages, it is advisable to drink infusions and decoctions of plants. Their action contributes not only to reducing edema, but also to treatment of the underlying disease that causes edema.

Sand baths.

With strong swelling, a sand bath helps. This procedure is quite laborious, but very effective.

It is necessary to take a sufficient amount of pure sand. Put it in a hot oven. When he gets well, he has to undress the sick man, put him on a warm bed and cover his neck with warm sand.
Cover the top with a blanket and let lie down in the sand for 1-2 hours. The patient will first sweat, then water will come out of it. At the end of the procedure, discard the wet sand. Patient to wash with warm water in half with wine.

Your diet for such a day consists of 600-800 g of apples and 300-400 g of cottage cheese. With severe swelling, such a diet can be observed up to 5 days.
