Protein diet — a diet for 10 days, involving the use of plant and protein foods. Such a diet enables the body to take carbohydrates from fiber. For a specified period, you can lose weight up to 7 kilograms.
The protein diet is targeted at people who are getting enough exercise. In the opposite case, to replenish energy needs, instead of adipose tissue, the body will begin to expend muscle tissue.
What is prohibited:
any sweets, honey;
seafood (squid, crab meat, shrimp);
fruits with a high sugar content (grapes, apricots, bananas, mangoes);
all oils except olive;
alcohol, carbonated drinks;
starchy vegetables (potatoes, radishes, beets).
The list of foods allowed by the diet is small and strictly limited. However, by choosing varied and interesting recipes, diet food can be made tasty and varied.
Protein Diet Basis

Before each meal, you must drink 200 ml of water, and after meals, it is forbidden to drink for an hour. 2 liters of still water is a daily minimum. The diet also allows drinking green tea and natural coffee (adding sugar and honey is prohibited).
Meals should be fractional: at least 4-5 meals every 3-4 hours. The ratio of protein to plant foods should be 2 to 1.
Protein diet contraindications
pregnancy and lactation;
diseases of the heart and blood vessels;
children and old age.
In addition, adherence to a diet requires consulting a doctor, taking a vitamin-mineral complex and food supplements that regulate the work of the intestines.
