The action of nettle is aimed not so much at reducing the level of glucose in the blood, as at maintaining the normal functioning of those organs that suffer from diabetes. Sodium contained in nettle leaves stimulates the production of insulin and is actively involved in metabolic processes; magnesium — enhances the secretion of insulin and its absorption by cells; vitamin PP — is responsible for regulating blood sugar levels; B vitamins, together with magnesium, improve the absorption of insulin and help reduce the dose of sugar-reducing drugs.
Bean shells have a proven hypoglycemic effect. Their principle of action is to protect beta cells from destruction, stimulate insulin secretion, optimize the transport of glucose to adipose and muscle tissues, and regulate the release of glucose from the liver.
An infusion of beans, flax seed and hawthorn fruit will help improve well-being and lower glucose levels. 30 g of each of the ingredients are mixed in an enamel bowl, 0.5 liters of boiling water is poured and insisted in the heat for 10 hours. Strain and take before meals 100 ml three times a day.
